RecoverÔ Uninstallation

Under Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP you can uninstall RecoverÔ from the Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs window. Activate the Control Panel, double-click Add/Remove Programs, and double-click on the "Recover - Drive & Data Recovery" list box entry.

      Technical details:
      The "Uninstall Recover" procedure performs the following steps:
             $images\ebx_1954200496.gif$ Verify it is safe to uninstall
             $images\ebx_1954200496.gif$ Delete files in RecoverÔ folder if they were installed by this version of Recover and if the file's date/time stamp matches Recover.exe.
             $images\ebx_1954200496.gif$ Remove the RecoverÔ icons and program group
             $images\ebx_1954200496.gif$ Remove the RecoverÔ entries from the registration database

      Manual procedure:
             $images\ebx_1954200496.gif$ 1. Exit RecoverÔ.
             $images\ebx_1954200496.gif$ 2. Delete the folder "C:\Program Files\Wrinx".

             $images\ebx_1954200496.gif$ 3. Remove the registry key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ProSoft Solutions\Recover" for all users.
